Approach  means teacher philosophies, perceptions or general assumptions about what people know of a specific topic, in this case, what students know about English language and how learning language occurs and how is acquired it. On other hand, Method refers to a procedure of how to do something, it should be presented in a recommended sequence. In addition, a method is the implementation of an approach.

Richard, J & Rodgers, T (2001) claimed that "The method concept in teaching refers to the notion of a systematic set of teaching practices based on a particular theory of language and language learning". in addition, Saeed Al-Sobhi (2018), stated that "It is very important that teachers choose the most effective methods and approaches to improve the results of teaching in general and develop the oral competence of students in a specific way". In other words, methods applied withing the classroom improve the way students will maintain knowledge and comprehension.
